Come to a Career Information Session

Charleston County School District currently offers an alternative route to become a certified teacher so that experience experts in math, science, and English have the opportunity to change their career paths to become teachers without having to go back to graduate school.

This state-approved program, Teach Charleston, specifically seek out career changers to join the teaching ranks in our community.

Four information sessions are scheduled so that you can learn more about Teach Charleston and meet with a recruiter to see if you might be eligible.

Please join us for one of the following dates at a location convenient to you.

Option 1: Monday, December 2, 2019 5:00-6:30 at James B. Edwards Elementary School located at 855 Von Kolnitz Road, Mt. Pleasant, 20466
Option 2: Monday, December 9, 2019 5:00-6:30 at St. Andrew’s Math and Science Elementary School located at 30 Chadwick Drive, Charleston, 29407
Option 3: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 5:00-6:30 at North Charleston Elementary School located at 4921 Durant Avenue, North Charleston, 29405
Option 4: Wednesday, January 13, 2020 5:00-6:30 at West Ashley High School located at 4060 West Wildcat Blvd., Charleston, 29414
